    ACDOCA Use-Cases

ACDOCA (Universal Journal Entry Table) consolidates financial and management accounting data into a single table. It replaces or supplements several tables used in SAP ECC:

    • FI (Financial Accounting) Tables:
      • BSEG (Accounting Document Segment): Line item details of FI postings are now stored in ACDOCA.
      • BKPF (Accounting Document Header): While not fully replaced, some data that was distributed across both BKPF and BSEG is now in ACDOCA.
    • CO (Controlling) Tables:
      • COEP (CO Line Items): Cost object line item data is now integrated into ACDOCA.
      • COSP (CO Totals): Aggregated totals in Controlling are no longer required since ACDOCA provides line-item-level detail.
      • COSS (CO Totals - Secondary Costs): Secondary cost information is also available at the line-item level in ACDOCA.
    • Material Ledger Tables:
      • MLIT (Material Ledger Line Items): Line-item details for material ledger are moved to ACDOCA.
      • MLPP (Material Ledger Production Data): Production-related data from Material Ledger is stored in ACDOCA.
    • Asset Accounting Tables:
      • ANEP (Asset Line Items): Asset line-item postings are now part of ACDOCA.
      • ANEA (Asset Line Items - Adjustment): Adjustment postings for assets are integrated into ACDOCA.
    • Profitability Analysis (CO-PA) Tables:
      • CE1xxxx (Operating Concern Segment Table - Costing-Based CO-PA):
      • CE2xxxx (Operating Concern Line Item Table - Costing-Based CO-PA): For account-based CO-PA, profitability analysis data is stored in ACDOCA.
    • Special Purpose Ledger (FI-SL) Tables:
      • GLT0 (General Ledger Totals): Totals and balances are derived from ACDOCA without the need for separate summary tables.
